The Lighthouse Ministries is a non-profit corporation serving men, women, and children of Kentucky with a three-fold ministry designed to meet the practical and spiritual needs of those in crisis situations, resulting in “changed lives for a lifetime”.
The Nehemiah House is a 6-12 month faith-based program that offers the opportunity for a new beginning to those who might not find it elsewhere.

New Building Stewardship CampaignUpdate: "Unbelievable!" That was Tay Henderson's reaction to the $500,000 donation arrived in the mail December 28, 2009. Read the article.
"You know what this means." said Tay excidedly, "It means we're going to build us a building!" The donation brings Lighthouse one step closer to the goal of constructin a new building that has been planned since 2008. The new building will be next door to the existing building on Elm Tree Land and will house a larger kitchen and dining facility and women's shelter named The Rachel House. |
